Local Libations

It’s easy to use the web to find somewhere to eat a great meal.  Chowhound.com, Zagat.com and many other websites can help you find the best $50 steak in town.  But what if you just want a nice “Mom & Pop” bar?  I know you know the type of place I’m talking about.  Somewhere you can get a great burger or some wings and wash it down with a pitcher of beer.  The kind of place with a couple coin-op pool tables in the back and some dartboards over by the bathroom.  Maybe there is a free popcorn machine or you can throw your peanut shells on the floor.  And when you leave, your bar tab won’t require you to sell your truck.
